Tool puts on the best show i've seen live, ever. I'm there on the 26th!
It's kind of shitty Tool comes back to Lisbon only to do another festival... They would love to play at a Lisbon Coliseum or a similar venue. The good thing about the festival is that they might play some different songs, like Ticks And Leeches in 2002. But, oh well, i'm seeing them at the festival and then flying over to Barcelona to see a proper Tool show.

couldn't agree more.Coliseu (Lisboa or Porto) would be a great venue.
meanwhile,according to Antena 3 ,on the 26th Tool should start playing at the main stage around 00.30.
-I won't be going to Barcelona but the Prague show, in one month time, is on my schedule

anyway, tomorrow antena3 portugal will be broadcasting the show (i suppose... today they've been doing the whole festival, korn will be on any time soon, 'cause they were scheduled for 00:00 local time) live, at 00:45 local time, if i can remember correctly...
if someone can confirm i can post a link to the website of the radio station (no direct link to the audiofile, it's realaudio or winmedia stream), i'll do so tomorrow...
PS. Lisbon is GMT... so it's 6 hours earlier CET (6:45pm) for the US... and you can do the count for the rest of american time zones, i'm spanish, and i'm not familiar with them... i think eastern time is GMT -5 (7:45pm) & pacific is GMT -8 (5:45pm)

for as far as i know, each seperate band / recordlabel has to give permission for the broadcasts. And Tool hasn't done that so far. The Pinkpop festival shows a lot on tv or internet, but already mentioned that Tool won't be on the list. So don't get your hopes up too high, sorry...
hm... that's a pity... anyway, if i get permission from some admin, i can post the url for the radio station's website, just in case they broadcast the concert (we'll just have to be listening, and if they say "no tool concert, sorry", we just switch it off ;P )...

I shoulda flown to Portugal for Memorial Day weekend ... seen Tool, AIC, and the Deftones... then visited my familia in Vieira de Leiria and flown back to the States on Monday. Portugal & Tool > NJ ...lol

btw, i got the american times fucked up... lisbon is -1h spain, so 00.45 will be 5:45pm CET, and so on... but if there's no tool show, it doesn't mind now... anyway, if you want to hear Placebo, they'll be on at 22:45 (-5h CET)...
