I wrote the first part of a review for the new album. Very "fan baised". Check it out at http://www.teamfuzzy.com/content/view/22/26 and tell me what you think.

Excellent review! Very well thought out and intelligent. You have described Tool's message and music perfectly. Bring on Pt. 2!

Up to this point, we have taken this band’s message of total individuality with a grain of salt; anyone with a record label contract will undoubtedly be influenced by the sway of their profit-oriented producers, at least to a certain degree. At this point, it becomes clear to us that such an element may no longer exist; the time of proving oneself is over for Maynard and Tool; pure, unaltered creativity is free to run rampant.
Nice review. Although, I tend to be real picky of sentence structure, and I cant help but point out that you used "Up to / At this point" in back to back sentences. I'm only being constructive, so take no offense.

Thanks all for the positive feedback! Much appreciated.

Kaoticz, I appreciate the edit suggestion. I am doing the website with one other guy, and we rarely get a chance to read over each other's work before it gets posted, so I end up being the only one proofreading, and one pair of eyes never catches everything.

I'll post here for part 2: the actual album's review. lol

Well, I wrote it for my web site (www.teamfuzzy.com), but I figured anything tool related would interest readers here, so I linked it to this site. Apparently I was right (for the most part). :-)

I simply made the statement because the title of the thread is "REVIEW OF THE ALBUM" and there really is no review in the first part. I already made up my mind about the album a long time ago, I don't need someone elses review to affect my opinions. I, like most others read other's reviews because we are intrigued to see what they think and they might even provide a little insight.

With part two, you described the album in a way I don't think I would ever be able to. Music is the one thing where the describing of which I find futile. Seems music (if done right) touches a place within us so deep, it can never be fully described with the constraints of human language. Tool for me is one of those bands. I applaud you for your work.

Wow, I appreciate being defended so well! I find it pointless to bicker on message boards; if the guy doesn't appreciate my writing, that's fine. There's no point in starting an argument with someone that's obviously not worth talking to anyway.

PS Thanks! To you, and everyone who checked out the review. It's kicking all our other content's ass for popularity.

i haven't read it completely, yet.

I got to the part about you, on your bike at 15 years old listening to Laterlus and it made me feel really goddamn old.

I think I'll go chase those young punks off of my front lawn now.

i will read it, promise.

Wow, thanks for all the feedback! I'm glad you all enjoy my writing...I can't say I'm surprised that you all agree with me, though! If you like my writing, check out the rest of the website, I've worked a lot on it. If you like the show Lost (off topic), we're starting a section on that, so...

There's a content feedback section on teamfuzzy.com/forum. If you really wanna be awesome, go there and post your opinions! It takes like 10 seconds to sign up.

PS I DID feel young when I wrote the fifteen years old thing. But my dad is actually who really got me into Tool when he bought me that CD. TOOL is greater than age...

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL FOR THE POSITIVE COMMENTS!!

He's still a baby, so I have to be patient :)
