Re: Pablo Picasso tour coming to the United States

I saw the permanent collection of Pablo Picasso in London. It is housed in the same building as 500 Salvidor Dali masters. Dali was upstairs, and Picasso was down - which was a poor job in planning because it was almost excruciatingly boring to look at Picasso after 500 Dali's.

Nice!

Picasso is one of my favorite artists. I went to an exhibition focused on him at The Art Institute of Chicago about 5 years ago, it was a beautiful awe inspiring event.

Yeah, I'm excited for this to start. I can't get over it is just in a couple of days. I live three hours away from Seattle, so I'm going to stay over night to visit. On October 8th at 7pm they will be having a presentation on his life and throughout the rest of the exhibit they will be holding activites. On October 7th if you're a member you can see the show early before it is open to the public.

That is interesting to know. Yeah, two big artists like that should have their own seperate venues. haha. That's a lot to take in.
