it looks like that was a backup plan. The "find tickets" link redirected to the same place that "get more info" one went to before the onsale time and date. Then the delay of getting the "buy" link up on the venue website.....ouch. stressfull!
Ha! maybe it foiled a few scalpers!
Looks like a decent venue....a minor league hockey rink but with a lower ceiling than usual. It may help the sound.
They played a similar place in Ft Myers Florida on the Lat tour....it was decent.

Naw...it's dead to the side. The stage on the seat chart is not to scale. If it's not your first Tool show they are interesting seats because you can see what's going on...I sat there in Jax and Miami on 10K and ended up really liking them. Of course it was my 12 and 13th shows or something like that.

Embryo: any suggestions on getting a minor some beer before the show near the venue!? stupid USA drinking laws. I've been legal in Canada for a while now...but don't turn 21 until October.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I like dead center, so I can see and hear everything well. Still getting the same seats. Looks like a very small venue and not selling fast at all. I don't get sites like ticketluck.com. they have sec 204 for $110, and then for $600+ down the page. wtf??
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
intimate settings are great. got to see them at Magness Arena, Colo Springs and Coors in Boulder. All incredible. If I'm gonna drive 6.5 hours, I want the seats I want. Not too much to ask, is it?

Shit yeah! I just hope I can score tickets. In '06 when Tool played the Molson Amphitheatre the tickets sold out in 15 minutes, if I remember correctly.

going to the Isis show tonight... should be awesome. their new album kicks serious ass
I just saw NIN/JA in Mansfield and agree with your sentiment: NIN was awesome (musically, the best NIN set I and my sons've ever heard), but JA was definitely a bringdown. JA was good ... but they're not NIN.
Saw ISIS 2 nights later and they kicked ass! Wasn't crazy about the packed, sweaty, SRO bar scene, but the music was relentlessly great.

Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
If anyone has any idea if tickets for the show in Cincinnati will be through Ticketbastard or LiveNation, I would really appreciate the help. I thought for a second that Ohio was going to get screwed, but we got lucky so I know this show will sell out quick!!!
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I signed up for a Live Nation account, and noticed that I wasn't asked for any credit card or paypal information. does this mean my account is incomplete? When I buy the ticket, will extra steps be required that could compromise purchasing the ticket I secure?
Thanks in advance for your input. I am much more familiar with ticketmaster, which stores all of my information needed to purchase tickets. I don't want to get good tickets through Live Nation, only to find out that I lost them because of some payment issue...

I'm pretty sure they are one in the same. Meaning even if you click on "Find Tickets" from the livenation site, it will automatically transfer you to the ticketmaster site. So as long as your ticketmaster account is up-to-date you should be fine.

Yep, I went to buy tickets for the Fairfax show and realized, that morning, that I was a day late. I got tickets, but they're against the back wall....

agree with jwb about them being linked together. also, LN allows for 10 minutes to purchase (TM is 2:30 i think) so you should have plenty of time to enter CC info if necessary.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
sorry for going off topic again, this has to be said.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT Isis was awesome!
If anyone here has not gotten into them, you have no idea what the hell you are missing out on. Saw them live last night at a really small venue, and that was by far the best non-tool live music experience of my life.
Fucking incredible.
Their new album Wavering Radiant is ridiculously awesome.

Hell yeah, man. I saw them in Birmingham and Chapel Hill during their run through the southeast. Those shows elevated them from band I enjoy to one of my favorites.

There's a livenation account and a livenation ticket account. They're separate and there was a brief period earlier this year that livenation tickets was operating separately from ticketmaster. It was a disaster though so as a couple others have mentioned they just redirect you to ticketmaster (or in NM's case the venue's own ticket seller) now. Assuming they're available through ticketmaster go through that site to save yourself a few seconds from any re-directing.

Fuck. I pussed out on making the 2.5 hour drive to the Cats Cradle. Went the previous week to Mastodon, and yadda, yadda, yadda... I'm lame.
Glad to hear it was a good show though.

With out putting too much thought into this one- more like just waiting till we all know one way or the other- my guess would be LA Memorial Sports Arena- saying that Junior mentioned that's were Springsteen played in LA while here in April.

We're probably even as I pussed out on driving 3 hrs for the Mastodon show.
The crowd was pretty lame at the Cat's Cradle, but the new album is great live and they closed w/ Celestial the tower...quite awesome.
Funny quote from Turner after some meatheads started moshing: "I hope all four of you are having fun, but take care of each other and those around you"
YES!! That venue is a surprise choice. I wonder why the bypassed Boston/Mansfield? This is a smaller place as well. I saw them there on Lateralus and 10K Days.
EDIT:
Oh fuck, I have comped tix and backstage passes for Zappa Plays Zappa in Boston that same night. Damn it. I'm going to have to go with Tool unless another show in the area is added.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
