At the beginning of the video, a hand wipes off the TV screen with the smokebox on it... Could this mean anything? I'm not a thinker. I am but an observer.
Also. I watched the video on MTV last night, and, first off, it titled it Track#1. Secondly, it bleeped out the words Finger and Knuckle. (i.e. finger/knuckle deep within the borderline) Any ideas why the mass amount of censoring on something as trivial as this?

I think I remember an interview with Maynard where he was talking about the censoring of this song and said he thought it was kinda funny how they censored out the finger, knuckle and maybe elbow parts of this song, but left the shoulder part coz the censors reckoned it was 'inconceivable'.

Well sir, if you wanna go about it that way, then we might as well damn every kind of mass-media-type thing. I.E. radio. And I can guarantee that you never even heard of Tool before radio. Or maybe even MTV. I know I never heard of them before I saw the Sober video, and I'm pretty sure you hadn't, either. So saying that MTV sucks is not the answer, mi amigo. Saying that people sucks works, though, because they're the ones that pick what videos are played on MTV.

The man is right Fuck MTV its worthless its blurred porn for chideren that have no connections to real porn. It's too much ass raping rap and the pussys of pop. Radio on the other hand consists of a certain genre. Thats why people take their chances of listening to it, to find the music they like and than to go and purchase this inspirational music to help fundthese wonderful artists, allowingt them to make more and more. Fuck I'm ranting too much.
MTV is just another channel on MTV. If you don't like it, guess what. You can change the channel. Watch MuchMusic. It has better music in my opinion anyway. Or was that MTV2? I forget. Whichever one has Control Freak.
