Sleep Forever is the bootleg's title. Artwork claims the live tracks were recorded in San Diego in 1993; remaining tracks are from Tool's 1991 demo tape.

Both bootlegs have the demos. Opium Den's live tracks were recorded at Lollapalooza '93's stop in Los Angeles.

Sorry

Error in writing the title. No harm done. I was trying to find the exact date... it doesn't seem to be anywhere.

Opium Den's live tracks are from 08/07/93 (Irwindale, CA). Intolerance and Cold and Ugly opened the show but were omitted from bootleg. Sleep Forever's source is 08/06/93; it was recorded for Westwood One's High Voltage. SF has two additional live tracks tacked on, perhaps from the 08/29/93 show Chris mentioned. Prison Sex and Bottom are the first two songs in that set.

Those dates are specifically for Sleep Forever.

Here's the info for Opium Den:
Irwindale, CA - Sante Fe Dam - 08/07/93

It includes the same four-track demo, but is missing Cold and Ugly and Intolerance from the live recording.

Both live sources on Sleep Forever a soundboard recordings. Opium Den is not.

There's a ton of info on these recordings (and hundreds more) at this website: http://home.attbi.com/~catalystx/tool_rec_hist.html

There's also a ton of great information at http://www.distortiononline.com

That's awesome. According to them one of the first shows they played was in Boston. Sweet.
