I think after the power in the first half the album, the members wanted something you bring back to baseline. with lost keys they start building you up all over again.
Lipan conjuring, cleanses your soul, and frees you from thought from the previous songs.
It's almost like the calm before the storm.

I agree, but I would include "The Pot" in there as well. After the emotional heaviness of "Wings"/"Days," it's nice to have a fun, four-on-the-floor rock song. "Lipan Conjuring" is a continuation of that fun (though I'm sure both tracks possess far more serious meanings), and then, like you said, they start building you up again.

I think there is more to it than just bullshit. Its not completely deep, but its like meditation.. or preparation. LC is 1:11 while Rosetta Stoned is 11:11. Otherwise, Its a cute intermission.. but not as great as the organ before jimmy.

I rethunk it, and I think it is crucial to lost keys/rosetta stoned. It is very calm and spirititual ( if thats the word) then an agonizing scream enters. THis could be looked at as our original primordality contrasted with our modern existensial angst, and using those old plants to get back to our center aka. The Mother Ship. However, I don't think this is what the guy in the song intended ( or did he?), so it was terribly frieghtening for him, but he'll remember next time, right?
