I wasn't attacking the meaning of the statement, which is obvious for anyone who understands that magical force we call context. I brought them up because I was pointing out that besides dressing up simple statements in large overarching metaphors and shoved into terribly forced monotone rhymes, Flobots don't have much talent, especially not on the musical side.
Goooooooooooaaaaaaaallllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rivek scores a point.

I've read in the Tool newsletter that members of the band have played the game, so if they like it, why not accept some Tool songs on Guitar Hero?

Of course, then you'd have the lame vocalist who does all the covers on GH trying to mimic Maynard's voice, which would end up sucking I'm sure... but who knows? Maybe someone will decide to go out and buy their music and end up really liking it and digging deeper.

You're REALLY behind aren't you?

The above has already been said many times over in this very thread and the makers of the game have already said that in GH4, most songs WILL be the original artists.

Was not, I was only making a point. It had nothing to do with the subject matter.

Again, a matter of "your" "personal" opinion.

I know you do anyway, it's been a while since we've cohesively tore apart the little soul of a new and lost futile ignorant newbie

Yeah, I haven't really read about GH4 before now. Well, it's good news that the songs will have the original vocalist. I haven't had the time to read through this whole thread since Tool being in the game doesn't really matter to me one way or another.
