The days are completely blanketed
With God’s gray afghan
So much to convey
As the marine layer lingers
Answers shall never appear
He sits there synthesizing his sadness
In a permanent tsunami of suffering
No one is here to save his soul
A year long cosmic storm swirls
In the center is a supermassive black hole
Sitting there lurking from above
Snickers and sneers, refusing to speak
Squashing the bastard on the beach
Casting wicked spells
In sync with hell’s bells
It’s two minutes to midnight
He tries to run, attempts to hide
Demented reflections in a mirror
Pulling him into a dark dimension
Vultures of vengeance spiral in a veil
Exhausted from terrorizing attacks
Obliterated and frail
Drained and defeated
Evil is greeted
He surrenders, crashing to ground
Gazing at the clouds, one last time
She hunches down, looks into his eyes
Slowly Whispering “Goodbye fool”
“I never loved you”
