But China needs to end these exotic meat markets where live animals are stored right on top of each other. Who fucking eats KOALAS? (Except maybe the indigenous people)
Mixing pigs and chickens is what started the Spanish Flu that was the deadliest pandemic in human history..

I’ve got a pair of cheap seats to Portland MODA center. Section 321. Face+tax and TM fee is $74 each.

Also I read back through the comments and you mentioned this already. Yea, dick move. Wonder how the quarantine procedure is working there? We have a few cases here and they are quarantining everyone in the family.

Holy cow! Portland was an incredible performance. Everything except CV off the new album, and things seemed pretty dialed in. As the 4th show I’ve seen since FI dropped, this was the tightest they’ve sounded. MODA sounded great from my section and I was really feeling it even through the set standards. Also- Korin made her return as a Tool poster artist tonight. Absolutely lovely. The number 13 was a theme on this trip, and I’m compelled to look into the numerology of it. Here’s hoping the rumors of tomorrow’s date being cancelled are false. Has anyone gotten the TA email saying Eugene has been cancelled?

I am puzzled why they are not postponing more dates. It's the prudent thing to do, at the moment.

It looks like the Saturday Idaho show is still on
https://www.idahostatesman.com/enter...241133966.html
This article mentions tonight's cancelled show.
As far as the other shows after that...tbd

I think this is what will ultimately happen, but I can't imagine there's a simple answer given, especially regarding contracts, insurance and even when they can postpone gigs, given the short time frames this is all happening
It does appear like the next show will go ahead however, but personally I'd be expecting all shows in the next month or two will be cancelled. We've had a flurry of gigs and events cancelled here in Australia in the last 24 hours, including the Download Music Festival and the Formula 1 race.

I think they’ll start postponing as well. A lot of states are starting the “No gatherings of over x amount of people”. RATM just postponed all your dates until late May as well.

Anything considered non-essential with over 500 people are being shut down here in Oz, seemingly for the next month. Concerts and other events getting cancelled all over the place.

It does appear like the next show will go ahead however, but personally I'd be expecting all shows in the next month or two will be cancelled. We've had a flurry of gigs and events cancelled here in Australia in the last 24 hours, including the Download Music Festival and the Formula 1 race.

Idaho show cancelled now. But it looks like it took the city/state to do it. I get there are logistical issues and $ associated with a cancellation. And probably from an insurance standpoint the band has more to lose if they cancel the show instead of the city. Still, would have been nice to see them take some ownership of the situation.

Idaho were touting a "no known cases" factoid. I think that's why it was assumed ok to to try to make the show happen.

Also, isn’t there a big difference between “postponing” and “canceling” the shows? The way I understand it, when they postpone a show, you keep your tickets/seat assignments until that later date. If they cancel the show, that’s when they give your money back and everyone looses.

Depends on the show. Coachella for example is postponed, but you have the option to either keep your pass for the revised date or get a refund. That's fair because not everyone can make the new date.

There are a couple of Fests that are not offering refunds. SXSW is canceled but your ticket will be applied to the 2021 version. I'm also reading that for festivals bands get paid weather they play or not, making refunds almost impossible.

Does make me think I need to start checking the terms and conditions on some of my tickets before purchasing.
Hey, on the upside, booked my hotel for the SF show today! Hotel prices in the city are great right now... as expected. Just hoping we get past this CV crap soon.

I wish you the best of luck. Souix Falls is right on the cusp of when they say it might start getting better so I guess we’ll see

Doing ok. Work still surprisingly busy for me. I go out during the day occasionally but just to get food (and some rays of sunshine). If I understand right, L.A area is on full lock-down until April 18th before they re-assess situation.
How is everyone else?

Good. We aren't on lockdown here, yet. I'm still working but my work is closed to the public. Pretty much work, go home, and have only left otherwise for groceries. Pretty strange being home all weekend and less than 10 cars driving by.

The California Capital is in full lockdown. I went to go to the grocery store last night and there were police stationed at the doors.
Went for a cruise Sunday and the parks were pretty full. Today they closed the parks.
Thank goodness for Fear Inoculum.
