If you're being realistic, the entire set can't really be over 95 minutes and you'd have to go with tracks that aren't too intense with the vocals. I'll come with the most "practical" setlist I can think of, even if it's not my ideal setlist.

I'm going to try to keep this in the "ideal and realistic realm." Everybody has their favorite album, so pardon me if mine's a little Lateralus heavy. I also like Undertow and Opiate, but I feel for today's shows using the latter three makes for a more organic feel.

I know that seems short lived, but have an intermission after that. Maybe Adam fucking round with those cool ass progressions while we wait. Maynard could say something. Justin or Danny could take turns fuckin 'round too. Soak up the love and so on.

So that'd be it. I think it would clock in right at or just below two hours give or take Pushit. For a dream setlist I think you're entitled to about two hours and it could actually be pulled off. I also think the transition from the Grudge to Disposition would be wonderful. So there's my two cents. I think it's slightly realistic too. Some people have some real pipe-dream setlists knocking on 3 and a half hours or more. The guys could pull this off.
Maynard has repeatedly said he'll never do Ticks & Leeches live, so we can give up on that one.
Here's my list, however unrealistic some may think it to be. I don't think I ask for two much when I pay a shitload for my ticket!

I read through all the setlists, and this is easily the best. I pictured the setlist happening as I was reading it, and it just flowed so well. Oh, and I can definitely picture Maynard saying that quote right before Third Eye...

I could actually imagine this, except I highly doubt that the band uses the term "Spiral out" as much as the fans do. But I would love it, nonetheless.
We've all heard and seen them play Stinkfist, 46 and 2, Aenema, Sober, and
Schizm more times than we can count. For that reason they are not
on my dream set list.
THE FOLLOWING LIST IS FAR FROM REALISTIC, BUT HERE GOES:
1. Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned (I think lost keys would be a creepy opener
as it leads right into Rosetta Stoned)
2. Sweat ( taking it back to how it it began )
3. Hooker with a Penis (for punks who keep saying they've gone soft!)
4. Tics and Leeches ( another hard one for good measure)

6. Crawl Away (remember this!)

I definately agree playing jimmy before Wings 1+2, it's kind of an epic story unfolding. Plus jimmy is really under-rated and under played. jimmy could be swapped for H. as well. I know that this isn't the greatest setlist but I figure that some songs will be around forever, like Stinkfist and Schism. I also kept six 10,000 days songs because they typpically play a minimum of six per show. I also tacked Lateralus on after Ænema becuase it's just a better closer, kind of a more positive way to end things.

im really not sure what other songs they could add...theyve done every 10KD song at least a few times...i really wouldnt mind seeing The Patient in there again, i think H. is a possibilty along with Prison Sex and Opiate

anyway, I love Stinkfist and the rest of their concert staples as much as anyone, but most fans have seen so many videos of them that it's almost a waste of time in the one hour 20 minute set that Tool seems pretty hellbent on using as a limit. Personally, I'd like to see them fit at least a few more songs in, since the great thing about Tool is that every one of their songs is equally amazing...
