i think the second one is one of the more successful ambient tunes i've recorded...in that it's dark and noisy but still has some coherence to it, whereas that first anthill track is really just a sloppy mashup of a few loops I thought would work together.

Despite what you said about the first track, I like it a lot...
The loops work well and give it a nice flow...
But the two tracks seem to approach noise quite differently from each other...
