God's Panopticon

After school was through and spring break started i decided to scratch my itch to do this project. it took most ofthe morning and the entire afternoon. let me konw what you think as far as the title goes

if you're not famiilar with a panopticon check it out www.google.com in the images section. if you want to learn more about panopticism, just search for it on www.google.com and read up, there are plenty of online versions of michel foucault's panopticism.

Well, i'm unsure as to why you haven't recieved any replies yet but I like what you are doing. One thing I can think of is the outer layer of the eye (I assume it's an eye)... it would look better if it were smoother and not mechanized looking.
But who knows, it's not my art.

Peace,
Ryan

so you mean the orangish black lines (skin)? or the white part of the eye (what would normally be the white of the eye.

thanks for the comments, i agree with andy obviously. i got the idea from pictures of an eye, kind of loosely resembles a birds eye view of a panopticon, and it's an odd paradox being the eye itself, the watcher in the center resembles the panopticon, blah.

I'm talking about the orangish black lines. Maybe use some texture shading in place of the bold black lines. For some reason the black lines are jumping out to me and look out of place so to say. Other than that I think you did a beautiful job.

Take care,
ryan
