i thought that i should just start a section seeing that nobody has talked about this amazing album in 30 days. the first three songs (third eye, part of me, pushit) are all so incredible sick as is the rest of the cd...
Part of Me does nothing for me. There is such a subtle difference from it and the Opiate version that I generally skip this song. You Lied is also amazing. This thread however has no relevance to anything and will probably never be posted in after this reply.
Pushit & Third Eye live-versions are awesome.
Part Of Me, You Lied & Merkaba are also very enjoyable.
No Quarter & Maynard's Dick; i dunno....
Message to Harry Manback II & LAMC are worthless pieces of shit.

Re: salival is siick
All of the cd is awesome to me. merkaba is one of my favorite tool songs, but it goes alot better when you hear it as an intro to sober tho. the merkaba on the Kalamazoo 7-15-98 show is worth checking out if you know where to get it, its more drummy than this one, the salival version is WAY more trippy.

Third Eye, You Lied, and No Quarter are really the only songs I rock out too. Part of Me not so often. Although pushit is different, I enjoy the Aenima version better.

This bootleg is too accessible, so I never really recommend it. It sounds the best as it's a sound board, but it's by far not their best concert.
I enjoyed the tour intro's where they had the "voices" before the songs (probably a Toolish term for it, I don't know what the fuck it is).
"Help, help, help ,help... Do you know the meaning of Life? May I assist you? Do you know the meaning of life?" (one of the unique Merkaba intros where the song was more drone-esque). This was probably around Lateralus touring.

Well it was inferred. BTW, what is your favorite song of Tool's? That way I can place you on the "People to disagree with" list. A very prestigious list to find yourself placed on, might I add.
