I wonder what the theme will be. Seems like Undertow was a release of anger and other negative emotions, and Aenima was about personal growth and dealing with past trauma, then Lateralus was largely about spiritual growth, and 10,000 Days had more of a scattered everything bagel feel but that was good too. I generally don't like political themes in music but I think in the current atmosphere political might be OK as a next theme, imo.

APC released a new song today. Sadly the lyrics and vocals are the best thing about what's came out on this new album. It's sad because the music is super lacking from what I thought Billy could play.
With that said I'm not worried too much about Maynard on this album. I'm a little worried he's frustrated with the process, saying he's wrote lyrics for songs and then the other guys will change the music and he'll have to start writing process all over again. I just hope for a good contribution from all the band members and David Bottrill.
