I agree with the slow feeling... it just doesn't have a whole lot to interest you on repeated listens. But definitely do not lump reflection in with the slow songs because that one truly is a masterpiece. It's my favorite Tool song by far and it surpasses the lifespan of all their music imo.

Needless to say, i've been trolling these pages for a while now and know that kids like you, inner eulogy, tool_is_sick, etc. are the resident "experts" on all things tool, but your drivel hardly impresses me. I'm here because i love tool's music, and their fans are widely the coolest bunch i know.

But even a hot chick needs an asshole.
While I agree 10k Days did/does seem somewhat lackluster compared to Undertow-Lateralus, I still am quite fond of some of the tracks by themselves but when considering the album as a whole I felt a little jipped.

As far as kids, I'm 30yrs old....my nutsac dropped over a decade ago buddy.

Rolo seems like an odd little douche, tho.
There's gotta be a fine line between understanding the philosophical and mystical side to their music and taking it for the face value enjoyment. Some people take their new age bullshit WAYYYY too seriously. I find it all interesting how Tool does throw that shit in their but you gotta keep your mystical and philosophical beliefs and theories grounded in "reality".

Enjoy the music for what it is.

Not EVERYthing in Tool's world consists of the chakra system, wizards and unicorns.

Then you started talking about fire being alive, which is about the point when you solidified your position as the reigning king of idiots.

How about you open a textbook, or actually pay attention in science class.

Inner, you should have read this other thread. Arachia or whatever is the new IAMTHEMOM, plus he's got someone following him around offering to suck his cock at any given opportunity.

I can't find it though.

Well if you knew your music (a variety of music I should say), you'd know that those are the lyrics from a song by Korn.

Although on one of their last ones...the same one that has Twisted Transister on it, the song Throw Me Away os pretty good. Actually, it's much better in an accoustic version I saw on Tv once.

Actually, now that I've just listened to it again (the unplugged version) I think I might like the album version a bit better. *shrug* Although it is cool unplugged in it's own right

That might've been the one I was thinking I liked on Unplugged. I remember seeing one that was really good, it was a long time ago though. I'm listening to them right now myself...gives me something to listen to while I'm working
