Because its so big youre gonna have to fight your way to the front and stay there. Get up close when ISIS starts and don't move. Have your buddy get the rounds of daquiris or margerhitas ( they are $7 a piece and are the size of Big Gulps, fuck drinking beer at this show ) and hope you don't have to break your seal until tool is finished.

I could be wrong in this estimation, but I want to say at least 300 people will fit in the Pit/GA area.

I always feel sorry for the people in the first few rows of seats behind the pit. Chances are they payed the same price for their seats as people did for pit tickets, yet they can't have the same fun as people 3 ft and a metal girder away from them are.

From what I remember I would rather not be in the pit at the tweeter. Your less cramed and have a better view of the video screens being in the seated area, section 102.

I've never been in the pit at the tweeter but ive sat a couple rows back and it look much smaller than a pit at a big arena they all looked like sardeens packed in there.

I was in the pit at Lollapalooza a couple years back. Great seats, it is small and they don't pack it to the max. So if you are getting crushed you can always sit back and watch.

I just got an email from Ticketmaster that the tickets had been printed this past weekend. Generally that means they will also be mailed this week. I wouldn't worry about them not being there in time. They generally send the tix out in plenty of time. Anyone say tool time?

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

We should all get together and just have one big ass tailgate drinking party with beer bongs, bong bongs, and giant game of Twister. Buying drinks in the venue always kills me. And the worst thing is that I don't even realize it until the day after.

I'll take the route of getting a bit hammered, thank you. With that being said, there is a nice lot to pregame right outside the venue.

I'll be there with my friend. His first Tool show, my second (Tower Theatre). We're section 100, row H (I believe), seats 28-29 or something like that.

If anyone wants to meet before the show, and tailgate, I'm game. Hell, if I bring my truck down...

I'll be drinking like a fish at this show. I'm fortunate enough to be half-Irish, so I can get all fucked up and still remember everything perfectly. Or at least as well as I normally would, anyway.
I like having my edges blurred for concerts. That way I forget just how ridiculous I look when I'm stomping around and screaming my head off like a three year old throwing a tantrum.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

im more than likely going to be using my lawn seats for this show. im trading my section 104 row T seat for a front row center of the second set of floor seats at the East Rutherford show. to me that seems like a good deal. not to mention i will see Tool then either Iron Maiden or Porcupine Tree, i cant decide which yet, but i will probably see Maiden. But i will be seeing Tool twice on this leg of the tour.

If there is going to be a tailgate party or something for the Camden show, i wouldnt mind meeting up with people and having a couple of beers. So if there is going something then im in.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

Looking to trade 2 tickets -

what I have: Continental Arena, Friday, Oct 6th
Section 2, Row M, Seats 5-6.
PLUS 1 Reserved parking spot.

what I want: Camden Tweeter Ctr, Thurs, Sept 28
2 adjacent seats in any of the following sections: 101, 102, 103, 202.

My section 2 seats are directly across from the stage, so they are pretty much the perfect place to be if you want to experience the full Tool visual experience. They are not very close, as the floor is between these seats and the stage, but floors are flat, so nothing will get in the way.

send me an email if interested.

Drinks inside the venue, outside the venue, within 1 mile of the venue. Fucking rip you off blind. Bastards. Do this. It worked for me. I got a doctors note that stated that "This patient needs liquids at all times due to a medical condition." I took a large gatorade with me. Gave the note to the chick patting me down and I was in. Of course being really old probably helped too.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

I'm coming from NYC, if I get in Jersey should I take the Parkway south or the turnpike south? I don't really want to be sitting in a lot of trafiic going there or coming home, any suggestions would be appreciated. Anyone experience a shortcut or a way to avoid the Camden streets? I know that geeting lost in Camden would not be agood thing, especially at night.

Take the Turnpike South, get off at Exit 3. Head South on 168 (Black Horse Pike) . About 2 miles down, get off on 295 South, go about 2 miles (stay left) and you will merge onto 42 North (stay to the right). Follow the signs for Ben Franklin Bridge (676). As you are following the signs for Ben Franklin Bridge (676), start looking for the signs for the Tweeter Center. You will not get lost as there are 100 signs for the Tweeter Center.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

Hey all,

I have 2 lawn tickets to see Roger Waters perform The Dark Side Of The Moon in Holmdel, NJ on Sept 6th. I can't go, so i am trying to come up with different ways to part with them.

SO, i am willing to give you those 2 Waters tickets, if you are willing to trade seat tickets with me for the TooL Tweeter show.

My seats are Sec 100 row AA seats 1,2 (closest seats to isle, nearest center) They are pretty good seats (Danny's side)

In terms of the trade, i would only be looking for: Pit, Sec 102 (almost any seats), Sec 101 (front half) and sec 103 (front half).

Also, if you are just interested in the Waters tix, and want to save some TM fees, i would be willing to part with them a little cheaper than what i paid. 2 Waters lawn tickets came to $98.00 after fees. I would be willing to sell them for about $70....... and...... a box of Chips Ahoy cookies (milk optional)

Any questions, whether it would be for the trade, or if you just want the Waters tix....let me know.

PS: Not that i need to tell you people, but this is going to be a great show. I like Tweeter shows in the fall. Good weather + great music. I saw TOOL here in 1997.

Can't wait to see/hear/feel this shit!

WFM>10,000 days anyone?

I am still selling my Section 104 Row BB Seat 5. its one of the last rows before the Lawn i believe, but close to the aisle towards the center. Looking for face value or trade for another show. I dont really want to have to deal with eBay so i hope to sell it to a fan on this board.

I just traded my closest seat for a fairly good seat at the East Rutherford show.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

not sure if yall have seen this yet, but wanted to share the stoke. i was reading some reviews from the recent cali shows and i was getting a little bummed because it sounded like the light show and visuals were not as great as they have been in previous tours and also the set lists offered no surprises, but today i just read this on toolband.com:

10 August, 2006 (04:00pm)

"SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES... AGAIN

Having recently attended the 'dress rehearsal' for TOOL's US Summer/Fall ARENA TOUR, I can tell you that all (well, most) of those things you've been e-mailing about and posting on message boards are coming, namely a bigger stage production and different set lists. What I saw was impressive to say the least (and with these guys, that's all I can say at this point), but the new show should be unveiled soon (and for now we'll just have to leave it at that) - with things better suited to the bigger concert halls."

can i get a HELL YEAH!!!!

in my opinion, 202 is the sweet spot... you're in the center, and far enough away from the stage that its not overly loud. it definitely isn't too far back... you'll be able to see everything just fine.

i'm in 202 row R, right in the middle. can't wait!!

im hoping to sell my section 104 Row BB Seat 5 tickets by the end of the month. if no one on the board wants it i am going to put it on eBay. i will sell it for face value or even a little bit lower for a fan on the boards. its not really a bad seat. its the last row before the boxes before section 203 and it is the side towards the center.

wtf is with this. i fucking hate ticketmaster. http://www.ticketmaster.com/auction/...nk=edp_auction

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

Having only been to Tweeter a couple of times and both in the pit. I have a question regarding my current tickets. I am in section 104 seats 29-31. I am a little worried because I believe I am on the end of the row away from center, wondering if my view will be blocked by amps and such.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

Hi,
I've just decided to come up from DC for this show. I'm going to the DC show as well.
Is there anyone looking for one ticket that would like to go in with me on a pair through the ticketmaster auctions? I think for not much over face value, we could get amazing seats, but they are only sold in pairs, so I need to go in with someone on it.
If anyone is interested, please contact me here or at [email protected]. Get in touch with me soon if you're interested. We would know what seats we ended up with by Monday the 28th.

Thanks

i have lawn seats too. im going to try to show up really fucking early so i can be right in the front center for the lawn. i was in that position for the NIN concert and im thinking for Tool it will be just as good, but probably better, assuming they have huge screens behind them.

Update: RW tix are now gone.

Re: 2006/09/28 - Camden, NJ - Tweeter Center

The new stage looks really nice. Maybe all of this "new setlist" talk will prove true.....giving that i am a firm believer that their setlists have a direct link to what art is being provided. The new stage looks loose, and rock-tabular. Hopefully making way for a setlist drawn up like:

LK/RS
Intolerance
Grudge
Pot
Stinkfist
Jambi
4*, Crawl Away, Prison Sex or Hush
H, Jimmy or Pushit
Right In Two
WFM>10,000 Days

.....and whatever Lateralus, AEnima, FLOOD, Vicarious maneuver to end the show.

Something of the sort seems pretty sensible to me. Alternating songs as the shows progress in those middle slots.
