He could be saying something, but I think that the song doesn't need and vocals in the first place, so anything Maynard "says" in the song is most likely not true.
i hear it.. and have been really interested in what he might be saying.. sounds like "FUCK YOU" to me.. and looped over and over throughout the middle of the song.. but why??

These voices seem to start after Adam's "chainsaw guitar" as I like to call it. At this point the song kicks into fifth gear and there is definitely some type of enochian language or tongues being spoken. It sounds at first like English: "we fucked you", but I think its deeper than that. Tool songs seem to be littered with tongues, this one seems to be one of the wildest in that regard.
It appeared as though it sounds like "FIRE!" As in a war-type command. It doesnt sound like a band member - perhaps a sample? Or a voice with heavy effects. Im shaping a post regarding my interpretation of this song, once I can put it into words
