jesteralus - I actually didn't have a specific local for yourself so (in that case) I just place the name in the middle (of the row given) until further info comes forth

mcallima - welcome!

Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre

Got my Detroit tickets by snail mail yesterday. They look good beside all my other concert tickets that i'm going to this year. Pearl Jam, Seether, NIN and Ozzfest. I'm most excited to see Tool for the first time tho. Can't stop listening to the new cd.

I'm hoping my hookup comes through okay!! It'd be great if I didn't have to go through what I did with Tool. I STILL can't believe I was one of the few people who got tickets the general sale morning. My precious, precious Tool tickets *gazes fondly at her tickets*

Either the sky iz falling, I'm dreaming that I'm making this post or Hell hath truely frozen over (it's all over the net)

The official Star Wars website has now officially confirmed it: Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox are going to be releasing the original, undoctored and digitally-untweaked, theatrical versions of the Star Wars films on standard DVD in September. The films will be available on disc only for a very limited time, starting on September 12th (they'll go out of print on December 31st). The films will be available as individual 2-disc sets (there may also be a box as well). One of the discs in each set will include the recent "2004" special edition version of the film, while the other disc will include the original theatrical version in anamorphic widescreen video, with audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 surround. And yes, on the 2-disc set of A New Hope... Han will shoot first!

I am truely speechless

I owe all of u's for allowing me to share in a Lil' moment w/ *see*u*auntie* Thx

Now back 2 u'r regularily scheduled TOOL- DROOL

YAY!!! *jumps up and dances a jig* I guess George figured that the OGOT market was too good to pass up. Finally a Lucasfilm decision I can stand by. That is really good news because my OT VHS tapes are looking pretty sad.

Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre

You just have to leave a message on Jennifer's voicemail. You don't have to talk to her directly. When you hear her welcome message, press 1 to get to her VM.

For the first 5 minutes it kept telling me that her VM was full, so I called the box office and they said just keep trying, there's no alternate number to get tix. I finally got through to Jennifer's voicemail. If you get through you'll hear her message about the Radiohead presale. You just have to leave your name, phone number, and COF membership number and they're going to sort out the sales in the order the messages are received and get back to everyone.

Heh, thanks Eighteenth for posting, but that's on another board so that's no fun. We all get along with Tool fans!

Soo....I made another Toronto Thread. The last one got deleted so we'll see what happens to this one. Radiohead talk along with other happy stuff can go here so we don't drive non-Radiohead fans insane :D

If we are lucky you'll be way late for your 2nd show. Don't tell me you're going to INXS or Our Lady Peace afterwards. Besides, anything would be a let down after seeing Tool.

No, those are to bands that don't interest me at all. Its actually Mogwai at The Phoenix. I think the doors for that show are 8 or 8:30 and they have an opening act. So I was just hoping to make it to some of the show. So is the Tool show time 7:30 then?

7:30 doors, and most likely, 8:00 - 8:15 showtime.

From past experience, Tool makes their fans wait for a while. I wouldnt be surprised if it's 8:30 show.

Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre

Just got off the phone with HBC. The lady I spoke with told me that my tickets were printed on May 1st and have been mailed. I can't wait to hold these in my hands.

EDIT: Just checked my mailbox and found my Detroit tickets (which I've unfortunately had to sell for face but am still very happy to finally get). Now just waiting for Toronto, and soon for CSNY and Radiohead tickets. Best summer of concerts ever.
