I just got a roland juno synthesizer to make background ambient sounds to add to my music. I want to find out how to make that really low chest pounding note that is used in some songs. I have heard its called an 808 bass note or something, but i cant find it on my synth.
For those that dont know what im talking about it is heard in some tool songs like the grudge and the live version of pushit.
If you have a good sound system you can hear/feel it at the 20 second mark in the grudge also again at the 25 second mark.
also 4 minutes and 56 second into pushit live you can hear/feel it too.
Any ideas how to recreate that deep bass?
