a 3d work in progress

This is the first real organic figure I've made in 3d.

I still need to make some hands and legs, but you get the idea...

Wahoo, another 3D artist besides myself.

Anyway, the page takes a while to load, but its definitely worth the wait. Organic models take a ton of skill to make, and you seem to have pulled it off pretty damn well.

If you're interested, here's a gallery of my work:

May I ask what program(s) you use?

I use lightwave 7.0

Back in high school I took a 3d animation class with very primative programs, infini-d 4.5, bryce 3, poser, ect. Now in college the programs are exactly what I wished for durning that class.

I like the blue star, very nice work.

I really dont devote enough time to modeling. Its something that I really enjoy doing and might do as a career eventually. Soon enough I wont have room mates, TV, or any other major distractions.
