I get a bit of a Neil Young kind of vibe from bits of this. It is a couple trigger words/phrasing that get me, so I dunno if it was intentional or not.

When I was a printing press operator, I used to run a fancy parchment paper that was called Parchtone. Parched came to my mind orginally for the title. To loosely provide the vibe.
