The Sailor and The Soldier - χελώνα σταθμός

Voices from afar have been calling
Transmissions of resounding echos
Grew louder and clearer
Until epiphany struck
lightning with message
To point the compass
On a road paved with rainbows
Where ocean winds are soothing
No worries are present
Only desire to evolve
After many battles
His heart was lost
Things he was blind to see
Now clear, and so familiar
As the sailor fought emotions and was deceitful
The soldier sought wisdom and clarity
Realizing that the Sailor and Soldier are one
Defeating the sailor until he is no more
Is the only way back to her heart
The soldier will never abandon destiny
Facing his fears and pushing away shadows dark and vast
Never to control again

Now a shaft of light removes the pain
The prophet assures him
Where the journey goes
Rising up to paradise will show
He will be true with what has to be faced
The soldier's love for her is dedicated
Actions will speak louder than words
Because family is everything
He is committed to dissolve these flaws
Releasing sharp penetrating claws
A whistle screams in the distance
Its the last call to board the train
He must bid the sailor farewell for good
As the soldier must be wise and rise
Not to leap in the flames again
It only fans demise
If fusion was to return
A strategic approach with inspiration
Illuminates one bright star to follow
Climbing to glory
Only the shining soldier
Can shed the light
Through strength in songs of fancy color
To complete the journey
And make it to the station
Before the train leaves forever
