Most concert attendees are pretty casual music fans. i'd dare say the majority of the audience would tolerate a covers band more than something as abrasive as Author & Punisher.

I’ve heard this, but they do use cameras to project images onto the screens... maybe that’s what they’re seeing and assuming? Like during Danny’s solo they have live video of him through a kaleidoscope filter. I think the cameras are there just for the production, and maybe so these musical athletes can “review film” and work on it.
