Nice reply there mstajduh. You're so smart. ARMZ was trying to say more than one Nostradamus. He should have written "Nostradamuses," not "Nostradamus's" or "Nostradamus.'"

I'm predicting that the forthcoming album will be released in Autumn (of this year, that is!)... All the other big bands look like they will release their albums before summer, so just when we think we've heard all the amazing new music we are going to hear this year... BOOM, new Tool album to take us to that next level in musical experiences...

New theory. 2008 will be the release date. Reason why, it will have been 7 years since the release of Lateralus.
Opiate, 1 year later Undertow, 3 years later Ænema, 5 years later Lateralus, all these numbers are prime numbers. Do you see? it's all about maths but I havn't done the maths to know the dangers of our second guessing.....of course it won't take that long, will it? please tell me it won't.

Yea I hope it dosn't take that long, my guess is as good as yours for now, but when it does hit the shelves I'm sure it will sell above 700,000 copies in it's first week. But if it is a dvd/cd package the price will go up and might not sell as many as 300,000 in it's first week but then again Lateralus may have converted a few extra heads. It's all speculation.

If you go to the toolband.com website and read the latest newsletter, the guy makes MANY references. Most of which are in reference to "miss JULY". Later on he specifically states that there are implicit messages in the text. Also, he talks about making his vote for this "miss july" for playmate of the YEAR. He also makes a big deal about the page number for the miss july centerfold.... page 163 (1+6+3=10, "saturn ascends, take 1 or 10").
After putting 2 and 2 together, i think the expected release date of this epic new album will be July 10!!! (there are also many references to his eating of some white spiders.... if you figure that one out please let me in!!)

Nice theory, in theory Communism works, in theory.
The Miss July references are to from an article which appeared in last years Playboy mag. Stephanie Glasson who was Miss July in 2004 was asked who are her favorite bands to which she replied she likes Tool and Tori Amos.
But after some more thought I think you might be on to something. Spiders have 8 legs, 8th month?
But I don't think they would work the release date around so that it matched up with page numbers on playboy. And further more I think that if a celebrity or model or a porn star is a fan of Tool then we become a fan of them, well not everyone, maybe just Blair.
The very first sentence Blair mentions a time, precisely 12:06, why would he bother to note the exact time? maybe it's the first clue. December 2006.
We can speculate all we want but in all honesty do you think you will remember this when you are watching(presuming they do the dvd) and listening to the next Tool album? Long and forgotten will this be.

Why does it seem like we anticipate the release like it's the second coming of christ or something? It's all making sense now...by not assigning themselves to a religion...tool is making themselves the leader of a new religion...or not.

Why?
...And why am I drawn to this date?
History reveals it is the date that Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon and the date when Von Staufenburg (sp?) placed his briefcase underneath the desk at which Hitler was having a meeting...

On June 25, Saturn passes within 1 degree of Venus. And on June 27, Mercury and Venus are within .1 degree after Sunset. This may indicate a strong Satanic energy in the world then.

July 16-18, 2005. A Grand Fire Trine of three planets (Mars, Venus, Pluto) in three fire signs spaced exactly at 120 degrees forming an exact triangle, a very rare and powerful astrology pattern that multiplies the energy.

Opiate, 1 year later Undertow, 3 years later Ænema, 5 years later Lateralus, all these numbers are prime numbers. Do you see? it's all about maths but I havn't done the maths to know the dangers of our second guessing.....of course it won't take that long, will it? please tell me it won't.

the problem with that theory is that 2 is also a prime number, why skip 2?
