For those that havnt seen/heard them yet.

Vitamin records is bigening (and has been) putting out records of both covers and compalations of tool songs, done in a strings qaurtet,

conductor Jim Mcmillen (!!)
performed on violins, viola's cello and a contrabass,

i picked up thier newest of releases a strings tribute to Ænima , while a couple of the songs on it are repeats from thier earlier compelations, the new album is spectacular and just goes to show that, amazingly TooL can superceed Heavymetal/hardrock/darkrock and be just as supream in a instramental version...
With flowing peaks and rigid shunts of slamming strings, it really is phenominal

kiler buy at 12 bones, and its something i can play at work without people reolizing whats going on, heh

I downloaded "The String Quartet Tribute to Tool's Ænima" a few months back and it was gut wrenchingly horrid.
