Got the call from the local radio station 98 Rock today. I won tickets to this show!! I can't fucking wait! 2 TOOL shows in one week! {I also bought tickets to the Saturday show in New York.} The promotions guy from the radio station said he didn't know where the seats were yet because they didn't have the actual tickets in hand but they should be good seats since the record company execs were providing them. Anywhere down close will be awesome since my seats for NY are all the way in the upper back gallery section.
I wonder what the setlist will be like by the time they get to these shows? I'm hoping to hear a couple different songs. I like the set list they've been doing so far (even though it's only 90 minutes) but I hope they put Wings For Marie/10,000 Days into the rotation by then.

since you all probably heard the album by now. just wondering about your thoughts about it and did it make you more/less excited to see the show? I just really hope they play wings 1 and 2 that would make my night, or flood.
and we need to figure out how we're all gonna meet up at the show. we just need to find out who's gonna get there first and we all look for his(her) car. i was planning on leaving work early and getting there around 5 hopfully before traffic gets bad and before the lot fills up. it's a little early but I plan on bringing some food and stuff. I really enjoy hanging out in parking lots.

They got them from the box office not ticketmaster. so maybe if you still need a ticket you should go down to the tower and have someone at home trying on ticketmaster. they said it was in the early afternoon that tix were released.

I was there a couple of hours before the show. I went hoping to find someone with and extra ticket or anything. Then about 45 minutes before the door opened they announced tickets. Not sure how many they had but I got one, hopefully I get lucky again!!!!!!!!

I was planning on trying to find a train or a bus that'll take me from work to the tower. so I mapquested from my work to the tower. it's 8 miles. I had no idea I worked that close to the tower. I could leave work at 5, walk and probably make it in time to see the show. so now i'm thinking I'll get there pretty early.
so does anyone have any idea how we're all gonna meet up. I could tell you what car i'm driving or give out my cell # that's the best I could come up with. but I think we need some kind of plan to be able to meet up.
