Yeah, these asswipe ticket brokers have a line on getting on the server right before we can so they maul the tickets and sell them for ungodly prices, which is why Tool tries to go around ticketmaster so this type of thing can't happen. Just one of the many reasons I love this band.

I am not talking about anything on stage what so ever, I am concerned with the fact that they will be in the Seattle area for the 3rd time in less than 2 years, they are getting older and this tour has been ongoing for over 2 years, kinda feels like a thank you and goodbye type of thing, I have seen them plenty to know and this is the feeling I get. Would suck fat ones if this were true but I am a realist.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN BUY TICKETS FOR THE EVERETT AND PORTLAND SHOWS IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN EVERETT OR PORTLAND? LIKE AT A TICKETSWEST OUTLET OR SOMETHING!

During the Lateralus Tours they were Seattle 4 times in 2 years so being so many times doesn't mean farewell it means Cha Ching we are cashing in on our popularity.

Ticketmaster is selling tickets acording to the Pepsi Center. Ticketmaster says, "no we are not selling them, they would have been up atleast a week before they go on-sale, but there is a slim chance that it will be posted before on-sale time." Could always go down there to buy them, but more than likely it will be a lottery they said. So really, no one knows anything on the denver show.

Yeah I think Seattle got a two-nighter in 2001.
And to be honest the 1998 tour (post-Ænima) and Lateralus tours actually had that feeling of a "final farewell". Both of those tours were really energetic and had varied setlists, and a "magical" feeling about them. This tour...well, no comment.

When you view the website does it look kinda weird to you? Like the Tool picture at the top is cut off and so is the seating chart.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
dudes if i am able to get tickets for these portland/seattle shows i will be buying the limit and i would love to hook up real tool fans with tickets so keep in touch!
otherwise i would have to buy on ebay or something and i hate doing that but if the shows sell out you got to do what you got to do.

I really hope since ticketmaster isn't selling tickets for the Everett show it won't sell out as fast. The comcast arena only holds 9,000 so I am sure tickets will go fast. I just pray it is not like when Tool was at the Paramount for the warm-up shows, those tickets sold out in under 1 minute. I was online 10 minutes before and refreshed at the right time and could not get tickets.

Funny story about that Paramount show. I ended up making it to the screen saying I got 2 tickets, but I waited too long (over 2 mins) to finalize the order so I ended up not getting them.
Then, a few days later, I gave in and dropped $350 on one ticket to go all by myself. And it was 100% worth it.

I bet it was that is why not matter what I will be going to this show but I would rather not have to pay scalper prices

Tool sets Nov. 21 show
By Mark Brown, Rocky Mountain News
October 8, 2007
Every time Tool comes to town two things happen: Their shows instantly sell out, then they blow the roof off the place (even when it doesn't have a roof, like last year's Coors Amphitheatre show).
In a surprise announcement today, the band is back yet again, this time with a Nov. 21 date at the Pepsi Center.
So if you're a fan, get organized to get your seats. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster ($42.50 and $55, plus service charges).
This came from basically THE newspaper in Denver. I'll be ready on Saturday, hungover or not.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
Does anyone know if they are going to continue to play the 10k Days set, or are they switching it up. How long have these shows been announced, and will there be anymore. I have been so busy I hadn't heard and figured they were going to tour next year.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
yep....still a 10k days tour.... blair says they will be touring from mid-november til xmas......the current dates were announced about 2 weeks ago and yes there will be more dates to come.

I am hoping the ticket brokers can't get in the site since it is not ticketmaster so maybe we will be ok as far as getting what we need. kinda nervous though and I can't get pumped 'till I have them in my hand!!

I know what you mean. I really wish KISW or other radio stations wouldn't advertise this show so much since it is a small venue. Tool would sell this place out without the radio stations advertisement.

Exactly, so those living in a dream that there will be an out of the norm setlist remember that this is the post Aenima era...even dating back to the Lateralus Tour, the setlist did not differ that much from night to night --HOWEVER the last leg of that tour was when they started opening with Cold and Ugly and Sober --throwing Third Eye and H in there from time to time. Soooooo expect to see what you have seen so far and don't hold high hopes. Fuck it!! it's Tool --buy a ticket and lose yourself in the moment ---Acid always helps ! Peace Out ----looking forward to Puscifer too!
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I think most shows in the U.S. don't do GA because venues are scared of getting sued or the promoters might have to pay for extra insurance. I know that the Canada show in Saskatoon Floor is GA right on ticketmaster when you order tickts it states no seats. But the floor is now sold out. You could try buying for a diffrent section and sneaking to the floor if ya want though

i figured it had to do with the bands stage show and wanting the people to get lost in it instead of moshing to 10,000 days, but thats just what i came up with in my small little head. It seemed like the GA shows were mostly shows they played a "festival" set for and 10,000 days set was seating

Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
Ok ok ok ok here is the scoop. Tmax and I are currently sitting right next to eachother in a computer lab on the campus of Oklahoma State University. We were sitting here with 4 computers set up plugging away at the refresh button while I was on the phone with a tickets.com rep. Tmax tells me he has pulled up row A seat 1, this is while I have us 2 seats reserved in section A row S. So while I am giving my info to the old man I am still looking for tickets online and boom I pulled up some row A seat 6. So I told old man rivers to get fucked and now me and Tmax have seats very close to eachother Section D row A seat 6 for me. TOOL MOTHER FUCKERS
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
i got floor tickets but i dont know what section but i have row r seat 5
