That's not true. If they take care of their voices and keep themselves warmed up and in practice, they can last a long time. Dio can still belt out the high tunes.

Maynard sounds better on 10,000 Days than he did on Lateralus, in my opinion. A few voice cracks are normal for any live rock band. Touring is hard.

See...even THEY haven't figured out Lateralus yet....because I'm pretty sure that when you figure Lateralus out...the music maps out into direction to the fountain of youth, man.

i feel the band in general is doing well in their age. as youth diminishes, expierience is gained, which is reflected in their work.

At this point it's getting weird that none of them are fat or involuntarily bald. Maybe there's just something in the air in California.

I feel Maynard's vocals are slipping. But I am not complaining. I love the new album. I am a singer and I am 30 years old. I've noticed my voice slipping as well. Unfortunatley, it is a natural process. Even at his age Maynard is still phenominal as a singer. He actually uses his true voice.
