Heading to europe for the last two weeks of may. How awesome would it be if they showed up there during that period too? Then I can come home and see them in Chicago- Sweet!

I kind of agree. Why two consecutive, seemingly surprise summer tours in the states? Go to Aussieland or Europe, get away, get inspired, write on the road. If they come to Chicago, I'll see em but... I'd rather just see them get down to business.

In all seriousness tho, all I really care about is hearing some new material. I know most still pine for the days when they would do Pushit and D/R/T. I like those songs too. But the band is what they are. I'd love nothing more than to hear a bit of what they have in store for the next album.

I'm with ya. But don't be too surprised if that's how they roll! I really thought I'd be sick of that shiat by last summer's tour. That said, the two shows I saw (Phoenix and APW) were excellent with that exact set list. I did skip the LA date tho. We'll see this time out. Weird band in many respects but the setlist thing is the most perplexing if for no other reason than you'd think they'd get a bit bored with it.
One thing I do suggest though, which I learned from my trip last summer - is that we need to setup a "carpool" type of system with the common TDNers. Y'know, a way we can minimize expenses for all of us by sharing rides/places to crash/ect for those who end up travelling to these shows.
I ended up saving tons of money last year from random people sending me PM's offering to help in various ways.
