The Solstice

I am waiting for winter.
For the sun to slide away,
And leave snow in its wake.

There is no instance of rebirth,
Change is perpetual,
But winter is the death of a year,
The dying period in which all is washed away.

I am waiting for my sins to be absolved,
And for the simplicity of snowy plains.

Re: The Solstice

Me too, so much green makes my world smaller, and I need high ceilings and unobsructed veiws.
