My buddies and I have been trying to form a band for awhile and we finally jammed/recorded. This was basically our first time playing together. The band consists of two guitars, a piano/synthesizer, and drums. We aren't sure what direction we want the band to go, but we recorded some today. All of which you hear is improv, recorded in about an hour and a half as we were crunched for time. The music is kind of a progressive post rockish sort, hard to describe completely. Please keep in mind we're all fairly rusty as we haven't played our instruments in awhile. The drummer has also only had his kit for about a month, but he has really impressed me.

Let me know what you think... there are definitely some good ideas in there that can be rusted out by playing together more than once, heh.

Also, as far as the tracks go...

#1 is decent, pretty upbeat. Lots of loud/quiet, mostly loud though, heh.

#2 is my favorite... the best begins at about 3:20 in.

#3 is just a song by our pianist, in the beginning you hear us trying to work it all out. It was less improv than the others.
