Actually, this particular thread is only for concrete information about the new album. That is why it is stickied to the top of the forum. The other countless threads are for discussing the new album.

Your opinion is wrong.
And also, Lachrymology? Amazon is hardly a reliable source of anything.

Toolband.com is just about the most reliable source of information regarding Tool.
And even that isn't that reliable.
I'm guessing the Amazon release date is only there because most people have already assumed that the date is May 2nd. I've seen them be wrong on loads of things, why would they be right about this? It's speculation, and this thread is about what we know.

We also knew that HMV set release dates approximate fifteen times in the past month alone, and that several forum members here had parents/uncles/friends who heard the album and said it was called Teleincision and was WAY AWESOME.
What's your point, exactly?

The point is you are doing exactly opposite of what you are yelling about. You say how this is only for what we know but yet you ramble on taking up space. We can read. We know what it is for.

not only amazon, but a few more "mainstream" websites have said that may 2nd will be the release date....
it comes to a point where "questioning everything, everyone, all the time" becomes childish.
also a band cannot and wonŽt spread lies all the time, otherwise they become "the boy who shouted wolf". they lose their credibility. no matter who you are, you are no better than anyone to spread lies all the time and hope everybody licks your balls.
in fact, IMHO, that would be absolutely AGAINST all Tool stands for. whereŽs respect? "compassion"? evolved communication?
to have control over your art BEFORE its released is something (because AFTER it becomes property of the world) but to make a fool out of professionals who are just doing their jobs (the press) is lack of respect.
no matter who you are, eventually you fall down.

Yeah, Billboard confirms the May 2nd release date, too.
I'd say it's pretty safe to say that this is when it's coming out.

despite what everyone believes, the name of the album is ACTUALLY "10,000 Days" and the track listing is...get this, REAL.
source - adam jones. (look at my thread, the proof is there.)

either he is or hes telling the truth. but until we hear something otherwhise, the title is 10,000 days, and the tracklisting is correct. not like this was a message from blair, or maynard either. i wouldnt trust either of them.
