Sorry if this has already been brought to light.
I've been very inactive on the boards as of late (been in a third world hell-hole with little to no internet access).
I was watching this Jambi video recording from Hartford in 2006:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clVbc...gspot%2Ecom%2F
During the talk-box solo, you will notice what appears to be a video camera right beside Adam Jones. Anyone else notice this? It doesn't seem to be a camera of outstanding quality to record a live show with... or maybe I'm wrong about what kind of camera it is. Thoughts?

It may be good enough for a show, I mean I'm guessing it's just to get a standing point of him doing his solo...hopefully that get's edited soon and we get a fucking live DVD sooner or later. :)

Interesting, nice observation. I have this DVD but I only skimmed it...
To me it seems like a home movie type of thing, something that Adam is taping because he wants to see what his live solo looks like. That would be sweet if it ends up on a DVD or youtube or somewhere.

not a bad video, but apparently none of you have a clue wut you are talking about when it comes to hand held video cameras...
it could be a mini dv, or a beta dv, id like to see the dvd shot in film but who knows wut thats for.
a live dvd will most likely have boom operated cameras all over the place, so i wouldnt count on that showing up in a dvd anytime soon

ha, I highly doubt there will ever be another music DVD made from film, and if there is, it'll be from someone who is really into film (like if Gondry made a music DVD).
This video reminds me of the clip of Danny doing the solo on Forty Six & 2. The quality would probably be comparable; good video (my miniDV camera is like that) and awful audio.
I used to read the tour reviews a lot during the 06 tour, there were a lot of reports of people filming using handheld DV cameras from side stage. Probably for their own use...or maybe they are planning to make a And All That Could Have Been style DVD, who knows.

If it is, I wouldn't question Adam's reasons. He has never let me down, and i'm sure if it's on anything official the quality will be there.

I'd be willing to bet it's a laser for the light show NOT a camera.
Peace.
EDIT: looked more and more at it and am sure.

You know it might be just like a bunch of other shows I went to after Dime got murdered, They start filming shit that way if they get a few slugs to the chest they have video to put on Youtube, I mean seriously, Back during the First Gulf war they put a camera on a smart bomb, The Generals were getting drunk and laughin at the video playback, HAHAHAHA! "Colin order a Pizza for the guy, Oh Shit here it comes! Look up, BOOM! maybe Just maybe. Something like that
