What song will Puscifer play on David Letterman? You think it will be the title track Conditions of My Parole or another song. I can see them playing Conditions, Man Overboard, Green Valley or Tiny Monsters.
Puscifer sounded good on Letterman last night, better than on the record.
It does lead to some concern that the tour is going to take on the country fried persona that I can't stand. (I realize I'm the only on here that feels this way.)

Is anybody going to the Vegas show? Can't wait to be inside The Pearl again.
Back to Tool. With the setlist getting increasingly smaller, what songs stay and what songs go next tour? You gotta figure they'll play at least 6 new tracks, right?
New song
New song
Jambi
New song
Schism (god I hope not)
New song
New song
Lateralus
New song
Aenima
That's 10, we got down to 9 at one point. Since Maynard said they're going to do shorter tours, maybe they'll do longer sets? (wishful thinking) it sure would be amazing if they got back up to oldschool 140min sets.

That's pretty much what I'm expecting. I don't mind Schism personally, though there's plenty of other songs I'd pick before that one.
Personally I'd expect to see the new songs plus:
2 from Schism/Stinkfist/Flood/Aenima
1 of Vicarious/Jambi/Right In Two
Lateralus
keep in mind when they did the 2006 mini tour after 10,000 days came out, on the first shows they only played Vicarious/Jambi/The Pot from 10,000 days. It took them a while to slowly add Rosetta, then eventually Right in Two. It wasn't until the world tour a few months later when they played wings/10 000 days. and Intesion was never played once until the summer 2010 tour.
So dont expect them to play too many new songs right away.

They played Lipan Conjuring, Lost Keys and Rosetta Stoned in Phoenix on the warm up tour. I think it was pretty early on on the tour too.
In all honesty, I want a small venue/warm up tour more than anything. Of course I love the big production in the arenas and whatnot, but the energy in the smaller venues just gets so fucking intense.

Yeah I'm no setlist expert, but I saw the Dallas show on the warm up tour (SMU) and they opening up with LK/RS.

i'm confirmed for the cleveland, toronto and detroit puscifer shows. PM/message me if anyone wants to grab drinks/ganja/cigar before or after a show. cheers
Hey there guys,
I just wonder if anyone know if the next tour (the spring one or summer one will be in Europe?)
I've very curious of it. Looking forward to it.

Thanks in advance.
pre sales for euro tour go on sale this coming thursday i was told at 11 pm mountain time for the upcoming full scale tour with bruce willis doing his new jazz stuff.
If Maynard is truly bent on only touring a 2-3 months each year, then Blair's comment that Tool may tour early in 2012 could be true.
Hypothetically, an early 2012 tour could be a way for the band to hit a few cities that they might not get to for a while (because of a new touring schedule...).
$5 says they play the same setlist for those three shows
does different versions of the same songs count? I don't think they have ever played the exact same set list twice. Certainly not in the 6 times I have seen them...

I agree with Runner701 - It would not surprise me if they did another North American mini-ish tour before the new album comes out.
I remember many months ago Blair mentioned in a newsletter the band was considering a "new concept in touring", or something along those lines. I wonder if the schedule Maynard has proposed recently is reponsive to what Blair mentioned in that newsletter?
Many of us were surprised at the previous Summer tours, yet these tours make a liltte more sense within the context of Maynard's latest commnetary on Tool's touring habits: touring each year, but perhaps with fewer dates throughout the year...
This type of touring schedule would also make an early 2012 tour more plausible.

has anybobdy heard anything about the Puscifer shows? I see they are playing a ot of the new album.
There are some setlists in setlist.fm. From what I read they are playing pretty much everything off the new album, with a few other tracks thrown in as well.

Yeah I saw 12 songs from COMP, I wonder what the stage motif is?

I've read a couple of glowing reviews, but haven't done too much research into the shows themselves.
NONE OF YOU ARE GOING TO VEGAS?! WTF
Off topic: Anybody coming to Radiohead in Glendale, AZ?

Saw Puscifer in Boston last week and absolutely loved it. I wasn't a huge fan of the first Puscifer tour, and was very underwhelmed by APC this summer. Thankfully this latest concert blew them both away.
