When you look at the words Hooker with a Penis. What do these words mean? A hooker with a penis is a transvestite prostitute. Such a prostitute is posing as a woman, but is actually a man.
This boy Maynard sings about is also, to my understanding of the song, a "poser". And so: Just like a Hooker with a Penis this boy is also pretending to be something that he is not. Hence the boy is a Hooker with a Penis.
I also think Maynard used this harsh metaphor for the boy, to emphisise just how disgusted and annoyed Maynard is with this poser.

the hooker with a penis is maynard. he would 'sell out' the minute he sold his work. hes selling pieces of himself (his music). the line "New tattoos that claimed that he was OGT, As of 92, From the first EP" seems to be about fans who claim theyve been ther from the start: new tattoes of 92 from the first EP, the EP is opiate, their first real works in 92, the OGT might be origonal gangsta of tool? playing of the common rap occurance of rappers saying they are OG, and origonal gangsta. just one of the pop culture references like vans, levi's 501 jeans, and coca cola

I was talkin to my cousin about tool the other day, and he had always assumed that Maynard was a homosexual. He thought this because of such songs as Prison Sex and Stinkfist, and generally there is some kind of odd style about him.
Hooker With A Penis also would reinforce this possibility.
i dont think he is gay at all. I mean doesnt he have a family. But Hooker with a penis for me is about how they selling themselves to us, but they name this song in such a manner to perhaps suggest that Tool is not for everyone. If i heard that there was a song with this name and i was an outsider to Tools music, i would either be completely intrigued and want to find out just what it means, or just be repulsed and think what wankers.
Have to say though, this song is one of the best on the album !!!
The hooker may have a penis, but its still beautiful to me.
