No, you can't get tickets through ticketmaster for anything. I have 2 browsers up and running, am on the phone, and my buddy has 2 browsers up. NOTHING.
Sad days in age where fans can't even get tickets to their favorite band's show anymore.
Fuck ticketmaster and for choosing places like this to play at (should be THomas & Mack) Fuck Tool too. Way to fuck fans over every time in Vegas.
^You have no idea what you're talking about. The HIGHEST price tickets are ALWAYS GA tickets. Every...single...concert I've been to, the highest price tickets are GA, and the lowest are usually in the higher levels of the seats.
i called 1-866-448-7849. fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got 3 tickets for my friends and i on March 16(my fucking B-day!!!) sec 303 row C Seats 22-24!!! sorry to all that couldnt get tickets. try that number. i was on both internet and phone and luckly to get through on the phone.
I am there. Both nights. I was never able to bring up anything online. I called TM at about 11:30 and the rep actually offered to stay on the phone with me until tickets went on sale. She was slow processing the first ticket though and that probably cost me a better seat on the second night, but whatever. I was searching for tickets online the entire time and never brought up 1 single seat. Fuggin unbelievable. I am calling from now on.
I had some tickets 303 J for Thu. still had like 1:30 left, then I get a freaking error. What a load of crap.
Same here. The "fill in these letters" thing wouldn't work about 4/5ths of the time.
This is bullshit. How is it possible for people to buy tickets? I don't fucking get it. Some scalper got ALL of them in the first 2 minutes and is going to mark them up by 400%. I don't even understand why ticketmaster exists if they're just going to do this.
the show is completely sold out already per ticketmaster operator.
Its strange, I had refresh over and over for awhile, then i quit, went back 5 mins later and scored 2 pairs for each night (4 total).. I dont get.. I am working at an ISP though , really really fast speeds.. maybe that has something to do with it
Yea, I really wanted GA that first night. If anyone wants to swap lemme know!
One thing about TM for those who did not get seats but then went back a few minutes later and got them- people are constantly releasing seats back into the queue for various reasons. So if someone was holding seats but did not complete their order (browser crash, timed- out etc), then those seats go right back in the queue. That's why that happens.
How the FUCK do some of you people get pairs for both nights when some of us trying out our asses get nothing?
Fuck this ticket game these days. I'm about done with Tool for good. Every other band I ever want to see I can get tickets, but oh no not almighty TOOL. I have an idea: PLAY A FUCKING PLACE THAT FITS THE SIZE BAND YOU ARE. Just because a place is "nice" doesn't mean you should play there, you have fans to worry about.
yeah that was crazy...my brother, sister, and myself were all looking for tickets, nothing came up for the first 5 or so minutes then all the sudden my brother got three tickets for 3/15. Sec. 203 row N!
I cannot WAIT to see this show. I hope the change up the setlist from last time I saw them

Man I know it sucks when you can't get tickets, I've been there. But you need to seriously calm down. TOOL has nothing to do with what venue they play or the ticketing process. It's just ridiculous to start blaming TOOL. It's all about the production companies dude.
I had no luck on the website, but got a single for each night on the phone.
Seems to be the case with a lot of people. Fug the online thing from now on. I am gonna write down some nice talking points for the ticket rep the night before like I did here and keep them on the phone til the tickets go on sale from now on! :)
Oh goody, I get to pay $300, 400, who knows maybe 500 for a fucking GA ticket that the band only gets like 20 bucks from. Thanks Ticketmaster! Your monopoly fucking sucks!

ok then fuck everybody involved in booking Tool and fuck Tool for not pointing out the fact that they play places too small for the size band they are. Fans get fucked, it's somebody's fault.

Dude, if you are looking for an outlet for your anger, look no further than the ticket agencies and scalpers. THEY are the reason getting tickets for these shows were just about impossible. I was just as frutrated as you are now last week when I tried getting tickets to SD. People are looking to line their pockets. If just Tool fans were trying to get tickets, you would have got in.
Or if there was a place they played like they should, like Thomas and Mack, there would be many thousands of seats available and almost everyone who wanted tickets would be able to. Even the Theatre Under The Stars had tickets available for a day or two. This is straight up ridiculous, I'll blame anybody I want. It's not 1 person's fault anyways, it's the whole lot of everybody. It all starts somewhere and fucks good people all the way down.
And that's the last time I give advice that works for me, all you peeps got thru on the phone and I didn't get shit. Damn backfire!

Well, to be honest, Briznitch is right. The last three shows Tool has played in Las Vegas have been at the Joint, the outdoor Theater Under the Stars, and now this. If you add up all the available tickets, they are likely less than the total amount available for that San Diego show. If not, it's very close. As Vegas locals, we are very sensitive to acts coming here and jacking up their prices, whether they play an intimate venue or not. It bothers us that now our favorite band, Tool, has fallen prey to these practices. Do not kid yourself that they have no control over where they play. If Maynard said "Hey, we really need to do a bigger show in Vegas to get some more fans a chance to come," you don't think they would be booked at a larger venue? I just cannot swallow having to pay $100 to see one act and a possible opener when I am going to Coachella this year (3 day) for $200. What gives, Tool?
I started writing this one guy on Ebay selling TOOL tickets for the Paramount show in Seattle last year (their first show...after Coachella) and he went on to call me a communist. LOL.
I got a GA ticket for the first night and 2 in section 202 for Friday night...just now!
How? I've been on 2 browsers for an hour, on the phone, and my buddy been on 2 browsers and just talked to a TM rep and she couldn't find a thing. So I'd like to know how it's possible please.

Yea I am callin BS! No way.
Just an fyi, Briz, I am still tryin too. If I come up with anything we'll work it out so you can take one of my extra seats if you want.
Chiller, I'm sitting right next to you in sec 303 row C seat 21. I can't freakin' wait.
hell yeah man. thats cool. you will have to show me a pic so i can say hi to you at the show. it is goin to be soooooo fun. i am flyin to puerto rico the next day for a 7 day cruise. it is goin to be the best brithday of my life. happy 22 to me!!!!
I just sent TM a request for handicapped seating. If they reply with anything, I am going in my buddy's aircast and renting a wheelchair from somewhere. Fuck yeah.

Dude, that is too funny. You gonna be all Ricky Bobby..... you bring Walker and Texes Ranger with you...?
13 minute wait? I called Chicago and got right in, but no luck for tickets.
Good thing my advice worked for everybody except me, that's great news.
Now that I"m all pissed off, do I go work out for an hour or just start smokin chronic now instead?
it worked for me, for Friday nights show to boot... That week is going to be a killer for me... Nascar/Eric Clapton/booze blow hookers/Tool/Tool.. Can't fucking wait!

Yeah think I might lift first before blazin, get some anger out. Much of it exists right now. So much in fact that I say fuck tryin to buy Tool tickets from now on. It's pointless. I never get any, and have to rely on ebay or scalpers. A very sad day when you can't get over-priced tickets for your favorite band anymore. Another sad thing, as far as Tool is concerned, is that I can get tickets for much more talented bands much easier and cheaper, so that is probably what I will start spending money on instead of saving and waiting for a show I can't go to. I could go see Porcupine Tree again for pretty cheap and not have to worry about someone like Adam Jones fucking up a guitar riff or 5.
