Re: Tool Tour [Winter 2012]
I don't get why ticketmaster wouldnt auction of seats to brokers
at least here, Tool does notoriously well in Toronto at every arena show since I've been going to them in 2001. Always sells out and sells out fast.

im sure Ticketmaster sells to brokers at more than face value in exchange for giving brokers assurance of the seats they want.

Except for when the Leafs fans raid Staples, I mostly love you Toronto-types.

Re: Tool Tour [Winter 2012]
To be fair though, the last Tool show I went to in 2007 at Copps in Hamilton, the tickets with service fees was $80.
So a $5 bump in 5 years isn't that bad for the highest ticket bracket.
I miss the 90's too, but floor tickets for most arena shows haven't been in the 50 range in a long long long time.

They better release some damn California dates.......Puscifer tour starts mid February, not too much room for added dates.

Re: Tool Tour [Winter 2012]
There's still this weird weeklong gap between that second NJ show and their GA show. For some reason they loop up and back down too. It goes MA, NJ, CT, NJ, GA so they drop south, go back north and then back south. wtf?

Definitely more dates to be added to the tour imo. I'd suggest these unknown dates are probably the cause of the problem with a lack of official confirmation.

Re: Tool Tour [Winter 2012]
Right, which is bullshit because now I have to hedge my bets and decide whether to pass on the sure bet and wait for a DC show or take the sure bet and risk having to sell my other ticket so I can put the funds towards a possible DC show. Putting your fans out like that because you're too lazy to confirm your tour dates before you put them on sale is bullshit. Do a tour right or don't do it at all. They're a bunch of supposed professionals throwing together some slapdash show like as if fans can just get tickets at the door and don't need to plan logistics and finance around a $90 ticket. This is the first time I've ever been really disappointed with Tool.

Re: Tool Tour [Winter 2012]
They put up most of the rest of the dates barring two TBAs. One of them is between NJ and GA so I'm hoping that's a DC show. Hellboy implied the same, or that it would be NYC but they've got that Izod center show that's right across the river so I'm hoping that appeases the NYC fans.

Got Toronto tickets!
Sec 109, row 9. Fuck yeah.
Balls paying $100 to not have a floor seat, but its a fuckload better than having shitty seats still. Now to convince my friends to leave their significant others at home so all 4 of us (the actual huge Tool fans) can sit together.
