That is beautiful. Did you take the picture yourself?
edit: Just read the OP, so scratch that question. Instead, tell me where exactly was this pic taken. Was it in KS or MO?
a little bit south of KC in missouri (kind of in between raymore and lee's summit if anyone knows where i'm talking about.. probably not) but yeah, i was on my way to school a couple weeks ago and had to pull over cause that tree just looked so awesome out there all by itself. haha i probably looked like a freak.

Yeah. Nevermind what people may think. If you love doing something, never let the thought of what others might think stop you. Also, the reason I asked where the place is, is cause I live thereabouts myself :)
this is from a contact sheet so it's a little hazy and needs some color correction.
very cool! and yeah, i agree with you for sure. my friends call me nuts all the time but who cares.

I went up the east coast of Australia over new years and got some night shots on my way. I'll post a few of the better ones over the next couple of days, but for now, here's Bonnie Hills overlooking Port Macquarie on a night with a reasonably full moon. You can see the lights from Port Macquarie lighting up the clouds.

i must confess, my brother took the second because i was sleeping. It sucks because i would of loved to be able to have my camera at that moment.
i really like those pictures. i always seem to snap a lot of pictures when i'm in the car and travelling. i like how the sunlight is really the focus of the pictures and the colors play into it very nicely too...sunsets are one of my favorite things on this earth.
