On first (stoned) listen it sounds like its poking fun at stoners who listen to Tool.
Listen how the first 30 seconds sounds like what you'd imagine a "hidden voice" in a song sounds like (what many people high have said they can hear in some of Tools songs) and later "feet cold, eyes red" in the lyrics
Something about not being able to remember what people said, god damn, SHIT THE BED.
Too funny. I have been laughing about it for quite a while now

bump
It quite clearly is. Look at mcroggles thread of same subject.
How anyone can take the first half of the song seriously at all is a wonder in itself to me.
Appreciated it is within an album that makes some very relevant strong serious points, but this one, come on.
They poked fun at their own fans in Hooker with a penis, why not again now?

I don't think you understand this song very well, Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned is definately about a bad trip.
