There seems to be an awful lot of tech talk around t.d.n/o lately, so it seems appropriate to segregate that into a place for people to stand around and talk shop, so to speak.
Therefore, I propose an addition to the "Interact" section, aptly called, "The Bit Bucket."
I don't think it would work with our current forum hierarchy. In a different universe, i would find this idea (with a different name, maybe) agreeable.
I think its a very good idea and that it would fit in perfectly.... who cares about how many sub-sections we have? I've seen forums develop large and fantastic communities just by splitting into subsections. And hell, we've got the "Spirituality and Philosophy", that seems like it would be on the same level as a "Tech" forum. People would finally have one place to bug Chris about computer problems. But this post is too long so I'm gonna end it on this example of a great forum with a million subsections... http://forums.offtopic.com/

Couldn't that be done in reviews ie. reviewing a product/discussing its merits?
I can't believe I never answered this question. Wow.
It would include iPod questions, general computing questions, and other tech-related banter that doesn't quite fit into the "Reviews" heading but is sprinkled enough throughout this place to be readily noticable.

Re: new forum: the bit bucket
I remain open to the idea, just so long as we agree that I won't be going in this sub-forum or even interacting with its users.

You're right, we should call it l337 sp34k, and it should filter everything into l337 and all profanities into n00b.

I just assumed that you considered my limited technology knowledge to be such a handicap in this thread that I wasn't worth responding to :(
