im gonna give them until friday before i call them.
can anybody tell me if section 308 has a decent view? the 3-D viewer thing on the ford centers website makes it look like its a pretty good view but i never trust those things
There has been a few ticket drops for this show. They JUST released section 115 two days ago. They have yet to release sections 106,107,114, and 7,8,and 9 on the floor. These tickets never went on sale. The reason I am sure of this is because there are no tickets on any re-sellers for these sections. If your still looking for tickets for this show, I would probably STILL hold out a little longer for ticketmaster to dump the rest of the sections.
Fuck I still haven't been able to afford tickets! I cannot miss Third Eye! Has anyone used the Ticketmaster print tickets option? Also would you be able to buy tickets at the event itself?
I certainly wouldn't guarantee this at all, but I'll tell you that venues will normally reserve a certain amount of tickets for the day of the show... the nice thing about this is that they're normally tickets that are reserved for promotions, or guests of the artist, or something along those lines, so they're normally really good seats. the bad thing is that they're are normally at least a few people who are waiting around, trying to get these tickets specifically, so if you're not one of the first people in line, you probably won't be able to get anything... all of this being said, and given that there will be some pretty cool people going to this show, I don't think you'd be ill-served to just show up, kick it with some hardcore tool fans for a while, and hopefully pick up some tickets that will be really good seats too...

I used the print tickets option for tomorrow's Cedar Park show, and I've used it for various other shows in the past. I recommend it above ALL other methods. They email you a link, you download the PDF of your tickets, and they're all yours...instantly.
Once the PDF is on my computer, I email them to myself. The great thing about this is, they're available to you anywhere. In fact, I left the Cedar Park tickets I printed last night sitting on my dresser at home when I left this morning (I'm staying out of town for work, and going from here to the show), so when I got to my hotel earlier, I just went over to the business center and printed them out again. When I saw Tool in Corpus in '07, I went to a friend's house so we could meet up before the show. One of the tickets had somehow not made it into the folder I had them in, so I just got online at my friend's house and printed that ticket out again. Definitely the way to go; if that option is available, I'm not sure why you would choose anything else. Even if you don't have access to a printer at home, you can run to any number of office supply stores and print them out for only a few cents.
And no, you probably won't be able to buy tickets at the event.

I would love to get 2 of those bad boys off of you if you're serious. PM me or reply in this thread and maybe we can work something out. 65 a ticket is very reasonable. Thanks.
why not just jump on ticketmaster order you a ticket and hold it will call?
most of what you pull up will be 300 section but they are like 60 bucks.
Like others have said they will dump some good tickets at the last minute, which sux for us who were online the second they went onsale and still ended up in the back of the arena...............hope you make it man
i guess all the talk about last minute ticket dumps is true.
i just pulled up seats better than i got the second they were on sale and the show is tonight! WTF? i hate scalpers!
Great show! Third fucking Eye! I got to see my favorite band do my favorite song of all time!
I will post a review a little later in the review thread once everything soaks in a bit more. I drove quite a ways and am a little too fried to try now.
I did manage to record the entire show (audio) hehe. Listening to it now the quality is kindof meh. They were so loud it was a bit much for my tiny mic. I'm going to do some EQ'ing and hopefully I can get it sounding decent and I'll post a link on here so you guys can hear.
killer, when i got there it was like 545pm and there was a crowd so me and my girl walked around to the other side entrance and we were first inline, first inside, first to the merch table. Fuckin awesome.............i got raped on merch prices.
i was surprised that Danny wore a OKC Thunder jersey.
I thought he would mock us with a Lakers jersey due to the playoffs.
Odd the arena didnt sell out for being half court! i had 2 empty seats next to me and they were good seats, maybe you shoulda got one of those K7.........
Anyone else notice Danny was getting the biggest pops of the night? I'm a drummer. And I mean tonight he was just fucking amazing. I mean we all know he's awesome. But tonight he was just extra good. When he'd be shredding and the crowd would pop, he'd shred even harder. Not one mistake, every stroke full of thunderous power and fluidity. As a drummer I find him to be amazing to watch. I also noticed he was using a different setup than the 2007 tour. Possibly a new cast kit with different tom sizes. He's just fucking good, amazingly, unreal, insert whatever adjative means the best.
"Remember when Michael J Fox went back into the past and saw himself cuz he had to get back to the pas....err future, but it was the past and...He had a time machine" lol
Just to let you guys know, there is now an almost perfect copy of the entire show (audio) uploaded on dimeadozen.org and thetradersden.org - way better than my copy. Listening to it now and its awesome!

currently downloading it now. thanks for telling us
Think they'll come back in a couple months and play a Tulsa show? They did on the 2002 and 2007 tours. Plus the new BOK center is awesome and they've never played in it before. Hope so, I want to see them again with this set.
