This probably doesn't mean anything, but all the broker sites that were advertising as having tickets for one or both nights are no longer making that claim.
And, hopefully, they (meaning TOOL) will limit the amount of tickets per transaction to 2, like they did for the mini-tour which allowed a bunch of "regular" people to get through. You just gotta type real quick!
Fuck yeah changed the onsale date. Good cuz I have to work from 9am - 2pm saturday and would have SUCKED ASS to not be able to get ahold of Ticketpussy during that time. Shit yeah, now I can plan on waking up, smoking a blunt and gettin me some tickets.
Well what's capacity, 2500? What was the Theatre Under The Stars capacity, 3,000 or something? I can't find it online. Anyways point being, those were available for a few days, and it was 1 show. This is 2 shows so should be available at least a few hours. But, I'm not going to chance it personally. I'll be both on the phone and online 3 minutes before they go on sale.
This is the start of the 2007 US tour, it's a two night tour, and Tool has a studio in this building...oh and it's the grand opening of the Pearl. If there isn't a substantial change in the set list now it will never happen.

I'm thinking the view will be awesome as well. Doesn't look to be that big, I hear it's more vertical and round than deep. Since it's built strictly for concerts, should be great all around. I'm anxious.
And yeah I agree with the setlist thing, it will change here if anywhere I would think. Interested in whatever the stage show will be, too.
Guys, guys. PLEASE! This show is going to be a HUGE piece of garbage! Anyone buying tickets to these shows is one lame ass biatch. Fer crying out loud, GWEN STEFANI is playing there soon! There's a kick ass show!
Please, if you really gotta go to see a show at The Pearl, then don't be a lamer and see Tool. They suck ass live. We Tool fans only put up with them now because they were once the best. They used to be good. Frankly, they suck now. Avoid at all costs and attend The Pearl for someone better than these assholes.
God you suck if you are online trying to get tickets for these shows when they go on sale.
If it's anything like the mini-tour shows. I'd say more like 45 seconds. Just a thought.

If I join ToolArmy today, would I get the password for pre-sale tickets..? Just curious if anyone knows.. These shows are going to sell out in minutes and would like to pay a reasonable price.
Too late to sign up now, but it's not that big of deal. They'll only release a couple hundred tickets early for presale, than the rest (give or take another couple hundred) will go out on Saturday. And IF Blair is not lying (or withholding truth) the presale will begin at 10am Vegas time Friday morning (Feb.9) and for everyone else at 10am Saturday (Feb. 10). Just a hunch, but I'd keep an eye on ticketmaster tomorrow and Saturday... Just in case.
Nah, not that high. Should be around $65. BTW, what's up with rooms going for over $200 on Friday. Normal for Vegas?
Normal for weekends in Vegas. Where do ya wanna stay? Because you can find pretty cheap hotels too. And Circus/Circus is cheap anyways and decent rooms, check them out. Still on the strip that way too.

Thanks for the tip. I found some pretty good deals on airfare too. Now I just need to get some tickets.
If you sign up for tool army you will get pre-sale.
You don't receive a password, you just buy them off there site for 50 bux plus shipping, with a max of 2.
And supposedly you can only buy tickets if you live in the area. i.e. 100 mile radius.
I bought 2 for San Diego and I live in L.A.
two questions. Does anyone have any idea how much Las Vegas tickets will be going for on Ebay and from brokers? (usually similar prices) I'm scared to death that I won't be able to get tickets from ticket master.
And i'm in TA but can't figure out how to get presale tickets. How do you know its 100 mi. radius? did you read this somewhere or did you just figure that that's what it is?
I want to go to both of these Las Vegas shows...and I live in Seattle. Would they allow me to purchase them even though I live outside the 100 mile radius?
Sounds like there's a ton of us making the trek to Vegas to hopefully see Tool.....the ticket brokers are going to enjoy these shows.....I'm sure they'll have the prices jacked-up pretty high, which makes me sick. There will be some lucky ones that get through on ticketmaster, the rest of us are screwed, unless we want to pay an arm and a leg. I still don't get how all these brokers are able to get tickets before the rest of the public, they must have arrangements made with the venues/ticketmaster, etc....I imagine they'll go onsale at 10am Vegas-time (on Feb. 10th), but not sure if both shows will go onsale at the same time or not. Later. And good luck.
They are on Ticketfucker now, go on sale at Noon 2/10/07.
Now for the bad news - $87-$125 are the prices. Better try your hardest to get them even at these prices, because just imagine how it will be from scalpers and ebay if they are already this high. I'll be on both the phone and computer, myself. With my friend doing the same in IL.
Man these two shows are gona be facking intense!!! Lucky as bastards...soak it all in, sounds like they're gone be ones for the ages!!! I read a few of the articles below...new stage, props, most likey set list for this tour...I feel alot better now that i manage to get a pair for S.D. show, even if they are super nosebleed bench seats...handle!

Regarding the Maloofs, there is a (probably true) urban legend here in New Mexico that Joe and Gavin Maloof's sister had KISS perform at her wedding in the '80s, probably around the time they owned the Houston Rockets.

I don't have an answer for your second question. But aka your first question, my guess is that the good seats for this show from scalper will go for around $400-$500 from Ebay and brokers.
And you are right that your odds of getting anything off Ticketbastard for either show are nil. We'll all try of course. But it's probably going going to be a total failure so be ready.

Yup. But really, it's the scalpers that are doing us in.

Ha Ha! I was just thinking the same thing. Airfare, hotel, food, beer... oh and tickets. This shit is getting out of hand. I've pretty much decided that if I don't get tickets through ticketmaster, I'm not going... well, probably not, at least. ;)
