what's he saying?
what's maynard scream at the beginning of the song? sound like he's saying "say" or "see." anyone know for sure?

safe makes sense, when the music starts, it plays a measure and maynard comes in at the last note ' SAFFFFFFFFFFFFE ' then it makes sense wit the rest. thanks chris ^_^

howd you figure that out? all lyrics ive read it took that out. i thought it was just a scream with no particualr word, but it does make sense now ^_^ ... well more sense anyways

Alot of the lyrics on the site, and everywhere else aren't total. They're not the 100% lyrics, and some of them aren't totally right either.

I too agree that he says 'safe' at the very beginning of the song, I myself have done covers of this song without the aid of music. And I always yell safe at the start of it.

I'm pretty sure he or another of the band members is screaming INSANE.

The "IN" part is yelled while he's trying to throw the Bob Marley wannabe out and the "SANE" (not SAFE) following the guitar intro. I've been listening to this song since 1993 and that's what I hear.
