originally when i first heard this song way back in the day, i heard maynard say
"nothing seems to penetrate her, cause she's skeletal..."
when seems appropriate and makes sense if you think about it metaphoircally (obviously). i was just wondering if perhaps the song was purposely written with the idea that 'scared as hell' would sound like 'skeletal', or if anyone else shared my first impression of the song.

That's actually what I thought he said when I first heard the song.Probably just one of those classic misheard lyrics.I especially like it when the actually make really good sense.
