When the suit holds up his hand, to show a single flame atop his middle finger, this symbol is known magickally as the Hand of Glory. It was a talisman used centuries ago by House Burglars. The burglar would take a real human hand (not certain where from exactly) and then chop off the finger and replace it with a candle. Lighting the candle, the burglar was now believed to be invisible to the house owner whom he/she planned to rob.
