Authority is a very interesting phenomenon, because it is the only form of power which is conceded by the one whom the power is exerced upon.
And about dictionaries, you're right, they often fuck things up. I recommend sticking with old dictionaries. These days they're all competing with each other to trivialize their content.

I kinda see. Are you saying that "Question authority" isnt intended to mean question the government or something, but more so question our own ability to be certain about something. Almost like question yourself.
