I, MON, would hereby declare that Rolo, of TDN, is indeed a good friend, and gratefully accepts his tissue, and looks forwards to cooperating together on more projects on the international forum that is TDN.

Re: So many meanings!

Diplomacy is akin to sucking up to everyone, while pushing your own agenda.
Hows the land of Windmills clogs and cheese?

Re: So many meanings!

if you don't tell a lie then you don't have to play dumb...

it's sometimes finding the way to tell someone the truth w/o hurting their feelings, that's the rub some days.

Screw that. If the truth hurts, you either have no self respect or your in denial

Hey you're looking at it from the wrong angle here. If someone said to me "im gonna build a time machine" I would say go for it, anything i can do to help?

If someone asks me if i think they are gay, and i do believe that, then i will tell them that. They can persuade me otherwise and i will change my beliefs about that person. Im not set in stone as it were.

I tell things as i see it, if im wrong, then i'll adjust my thinking.

Re: So many meanings!

Why do they need denial? accept things as they are. I know that not everything will be nice and rosy, but for every bad time, there is a million special moments that made it worth it

Re: So many meanings!

a lot of people live in denial, so i guess it's up to YOU to decide if it is worth popping their bubble of delusions--but most times, stand back

Re: So many meanings!

most times, point out what exactly they're in denial about, and help them get over it.

Re: So many meanings!

Ignorance is a poor version of bliss (like internet exporer v2 compared with Firefox 3)
Knowledge, and the wisdom to place importance where it belongs is far better.

For instance, im well aware that many people are being hit hard by the recession.
I personally dont see the effect, so i live as usual.

not the best analogy, but the point is still valid
