I've seen a video of DMT with the full band, and it was unreal. Does that flute guy actually do much on stage? I can understand if he is half of the driving force behind the project as a whole, but it seems like he is just dancing around on stage.

raja plays flutes quite often in the live act. the more they play as a band, the better they pull it off.

I realized this is off topic (if there actually is a topic here), but can anyone help me burn that New Orleans DVD I downloaded? When I try to burn it with Cyberlink Power2Go, it says it's too big for the DVD...anyone?

I had this problem too. Solution? Double layer DVD media. Works just fine.

why all the hatin on apc?? they put on a phenomenal live show.
i mean this in the kindest way possible. think for a second, you are on a board were the majority of active posters, dont listen, or even dont like tool anymore. apc doesnt stand a chance.
btw the first 2 releases were killer. ready for some new material!
A Perfect Circle hasn't been active since 2004... we have gotten 10,000 Days and everything since from Tool in the meanwhile. Stop whining, kiddies.
I have never seen APC live before and I seriously hope there's room for a couple midwest dates in a westcoast tour... would be such a fucking thrill to see them in the twin cities.

Maynard James Keenan had very little to say upon being reached, "I just hope that this isn't what I think it is... I hope Billy is okay and pray for him and his family. I just hope to God that this isn't what I think it is." It is in the minds of all of us just what Maynard is referring to here, but who knows? Perhaps Billy's mental health has been not so good? But that doesn't make much sense in light of his recent behavior, according to those closest to him. His whereabouts are completely unknown.
Adam Jones, nor the rest of the members of the band Tool, could be reached for comment. Billy Howerdel was Adam Jones' guitar tech with Tool for several years until 1999 when Tool lead singer, Maynard James Keenan, started a very successful project with him called A Perfect Circle. Maynard and Billy would go on to sell millions of albums and ultimately ("unintentionally") cause great friction within Tool with their success.
Adam Jones was reported to have had an acute psychotic break upon hearing the news of a West Coast A Perfect Circle tour in conjunction with recent album rumors floating around Billy and Maynard. Tool was recently rumored to be working on their new album upon finishing the most recent of their touring stints. They haven't released an album in almost 5 years.
As crazy as this sounds, Adam Jones has been cited as a possible suspect; however, Blair Mackenzie Blake, Tool's webmaster, has already vouched for the 3 absent members of Tool, saying, "The last week or so, Danny, Justin, Adam, and I have been out camping near Area 51, taking mushrooms, drinking foreign beer and discussing the end of the world. While it is possible that, during a certain magickal ceremony, Billy Howerdel's soul could have been effected somehow... well, I mean, that is purely speculation of course, and I cannot comment any further on that, but the members of Tool send their best wishes and..."
