Well, yes, there were (are) several theories, on of them is called the holy gift. It is based on the fibonacci sequence, it says the tracks should be played in a special order, so the track numbers create some kinda spiral. (the fibonacci sequence appears several places in nature, sometimes by forming a mathematical spiral.)
so they say, that the "Holy gift", the real order is:
6,7,5,8,4,9,13,1,12,2,11,3,10.
(there are some similar theories as well, 1,2,3,5,8,13,4,6,7,9,10,11,12 ("The Fibonacci Sequence"), 6,7,5,8,4,9,3,10,2,11,1,12,13 ("The Lateralus Prophecy"))
But i think it is bullshit:-))
